Important Information Regarding the Reopening of School

We are pleased to be able to tell you that school will be open to the following years on Monday 28th June:

Reception Class
Year 3
Year 6
Please bring your children to school and collect them at the times that you have been previously this term.

All other bubbles /classes will need to CONTINUE TO ISOLATE as previously instructed unless you hear from us further.

This means that Year 1 children can return to school on Tuesday 29th June and Nursery on Friday 2nd July.

Children in Years 2,4 and 5 should isolate until we have a clear date for their return. Children MUST isolate at home.

Public Health have advised that it would be helpful to test your children with lateral flow tests if possible. This is mainly due to the fact that most children have had no symptoms and then tested positive, which is obviously quite worrying. This would also help us to get all of our children safely back to school as soon as possible.
A negative lateral flow test result does not mean that your child won't have to continue isolate but will flag up any extra cases during the isolation period.

Public Health have also explored each positive case thoroughly and looked at school processes and have no concerns about the safety of these three year groups returning to school, they have asked that parents be extra vigilant as cases are rising significantly in our area.

Please email Mrs Poole with any positive lateral flow results and she will be able to advise the next steps to take. Please also email ALL PCR test results as we have to report these to Public Health England.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation at this time.
