The Den, has been established since 2004, providing excellent out of hours school care for children between the ages of 3 to 11 that attend St Mary and St Margaret’s C of E Primary school. The Den is set within a safe, happy secure environment and has a strong family ethos.

We aim to provide children with good quality out of school childcare. Creating a relaxed, secure, enjoyable and anti-discriminatory atmosphere for all the children attending the Den.
The Den provides a safe, happy, clean and healthy environment for children who are attending St Mary and St Margaret's School. The Den operates a before and after school scheme.
After school children are collected from within school by 2 members of The Den staff. If a child is participating in an extra curriculum activity within the school pupils can be collected by The Den staff at the appropriate time. Prior notice must be given.
Breakfast consists of a variety of cereals, toast with jam, honey and marmalade and for drinks either apple, orange juice or milk. During the afternoon session children are given a snack. These range from sandwiches, wraps, crackers, beans/spaghetti on toast or soup. Desserts consist of angel delight, jelly and fresh fruit. Drinks are available throughout all sessions.
